AppImages Problems with Effects

Hallo Julius,
Interestingly, the SWH plugins are available in the flatpak version, but not in the AppImage. Is that intentional?

Flatpak and AppImage use different packaging systems, so somehow yes. On the other hand this is a hint that we should be able to make it work with the AppImage too. However as always nobody had the time to take a deep look yet and we don’t have an reliable automated way to test effects yet (which would make me more confident to just enable it and try).

vielleicht könnte ich das machen. Auf Linux und Windows wäre es mir möglich. Ich wäre sehr gerne bereit, Kdenlive auch stundenlang und ausgiebig zu testen. Was genau müsste ich da tun?
