Audex can't access cd-drive

Hello,

Please excuse any mistakes in this post since I don’t use forums often.
Today I tried ripping a cd using Audex which I freshly installed from the discover store on my Kubuntu system.
I think Audex can’t access my external cd-drive. Apparently it is because of apparmor.
I have not done anything with apparmor before today. Trying to change the mode from enforce to complain is not working, Audex stays in enfoce mode.
If I try to start Audex using sudo or as root it does not start at all.
The following is the console output from starting Audex:

/usr/share/libdrm/amdgpu.ids: No such file or directory
kf.solid.backends.fstab: Failed to acquire watch file descriptor Permission denied
kf.solid.backends.udisks2: Failed to fetch all devices "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied" "An AppArmor policy prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient; type=\"method_call\", sender=\":1.137\" (uid=1000 pid=11791 comm=\"/snap/audex/15/usr/bin/audex\" label=\"snap.audex.audex (enforce)\") interface=\"org.freedesktop.DBus.ObjectManager\" member=\"GetManagedObjects\" error name=\"(unset)\" requested_reply=\"0\" destination=\"org.freedesktop.UDisks2\" (uid=0 pid=1170 comm=\"/usr/libexec/udisks2/udisksd\" label=\"unconfined\")"

I am running Kubuntu 25.10, and the Audex version is 25.12.3.
If this is not the right place to get help with this problem, please tell me where I can get help.

Thanks in advance. :slightly_smiling_face:
