Audio and Phone calls via computer connected to phone with bluetooth

Hello,

I am not sure if this is a bug or an intended feature, but I thought I’d share it because I don’t think I’ve seen it mentioned anywhere.

In Manjaro, I am able to connect to my Android phone via bluetooth on KDE Plasma. The phone shows up as an audio device in teh audio settings, and audio from the phone will play back on the speakers on my computer. This is very cool.

The coolest part though, is that if I make a phone call with my phone, the phone will treat my computer as an audio headset, and so I can talk to people on the phone from my laptop via a wired headphone connected to my laptop. This is very convenient!

I just have one issue: when making phone calls, the person I’m calling usually complains of bad audio quality and I end up switching to my phone at some point. I’m not sure why this happens though… maybe it’s because this is a bug and not a feature? :stuck_out_tongue: Or maybe it’s just bluetooth wierdness on Linux…

I think upgrading to latest version this problem can be solved.
