Recently, I left my PC for about an hour and came back to find the volume widget crossed out with text displaying “No output or input devices found”.
After quickly rebooting, the issue persisted.
From my research, I found others with a similar—If not the same—problem (links provided below), but it seemed like there was no definitive solution.
