Audio issues on startups

I’m not sure if anyone else has encountered this bug, but on startups my audio is extremely low until I switch the audio from being “Pro Audio” to “Analog Stereo Duplex/Output” and then back to “Pro Audio”.

This only occurs with my headset that is connected to an amp, no such issues with the speakers. I’ve reported it on the bugs.kde but I just wanted to know if anyone else has experience this. It’s been going on for weeks, it’s a bit annoying but far from the worst bug.

My reply is not going help that much but im interested for answer too!

Had the same kind of issue with my USB DAC. Looks like a PipeWire/WirePlumber bug with the Pro Audio profile.

I just stopped using Pro Audio and switched to Analog Stereo Output. Less fancy, but it works better for daily use.

Maybe I also don’t have the right equipment or setup to use Pro Audio properly, but it seems a bit buggy at startup.

Pro Audio looks nice, but it seems to cause weird startup issues sometimes.
