Automatic start function of kde

Recently, I have been using a feature of KDE, which is to automatically launch applications. In the settings, there is a function for automatic startup. When adding a certain application, you can choose whether to launch the program from the terminal. However, after I checked the box, restarting did not enable the process to be launched from the terminal. Moreover, I attempted to modify the.desktop file in the.config/autostart directory and changed the value of the Terminal field to true, but still failed to launch the program from the terminal. I wonder if there is a problem here.

Operating System:Kubuntu 24.10
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.5
Qt Version:6.6.2KDE Frameworks Version:6.6.0
Kernel Version:6.11.0-18-generic (64-bit)Graphics Platform: X11
Processors:8xIntel@Corei5-10210U cPU@1.60GHz

could very well be, there are a lot of things in 24.10 that don’t work, and filing a bug report is pointless as the response will be that plasma 6.1 is not supported.

so either wait it out for 25.04 and hope it gets fixed and you get plasma 6.2 or do like i did and fall back to LTS.

Thank you. I submitted a bug today and it was closed. I thought it was because of the way I submitted the bug. I hope it can be resolved in 25.04.
