AV1 opus seem to crash...when I render without audio

I was never been able to encode on AV1 with Kdenlive but I didn’t give it much thought.
Tho now that I took a look at the output log (and I know what opus is) it doesn’t make much sense.

[libopus @ 0000023f35791180] Value 16666.000000 for parameter ‘frame_duration’ out of range [2.5 - 120]
[libopus @ 0000023f35aa9900] Value 16666.000000 for parameter ‘frame_duration’ out of range [2.5 - 120]

So if I render without audio how can opus crash?
Seems like a bug to me.

What makes you say this is a crash? They just look like warnings to me?

Encoding with libaom-av1is painfully slow, even at the lowest complexity settings, but it otherwise seems to work just fine to me…

We probably should look at building the appimages with SVT-AV1 support and adding a preset for that, which should be a bit better in that respect.

Well it crashes..I get those messages and it stops. I bet if you try to render AV1 without audio you’ll get the same.

“it stops” is not the same as “it crashes”. What stops? the rendering, or the entire application folds up all its windows and exits?

I bet if you try to render AV1 without audio you’ll get the same.

I hope you didn’t bet anything valuable. That makes no difference at all, no warnings, painfully slow, but eventually spits out a perfectly valid file with only a video stream in it. the same as the previous test.

What kdenlive version and build are you using?
