Avoid using neon in id (inside /etc/os-release) - KDE Neon

Hi,

Using id=neon generates problems in many installers that use that variable to detect Linux OS Distribution.
Examples that comes in my mind right now are, AMD Radeon GPU driver (proprietary), NetData, etc.

I had to manually change that to make it work.

If this is not the right place to post this, just let me know.

Thanks.

Last time I tried installing amdgpu proprietary drivers (amdgpu-install) on Kubuntu, it just bricked the whole system.

Was working fine in Kubuntu 23.04 but it stopped working when I upgraded to 23.10.

And thats nothing has to do with what I’ve posted…
