Black Artifacts around Windows App on KDE Wayland

I am trying to run a windows app on lutris, TickTick to be specific. The native linux app is an electron wrapper and it does not have lot of essential features.

The app runs fine on Gnome (wayland or xorg) and Plasma xorg. But on Plasma wayland, there is are black border around windows.


I am running it in lutris flatpak version to run it. Is there a way to fix the black borders on wayland ?

These look like modal dialogs with CSD. It may be an edge case that is handled badly in the kwin Wayland compositor.

I suggest you open a bug report with those screenshots in bugs.kde.org - Iā€™m sure kwin developers would love to know about this issue.
