Bluedevil-wizard Failing for some devices

The issue is likely with the new Bluetooth adapter I have installed. My Bose headset fails with this error(although my AirPods connected just fine):

bluedevil-wizard[6183]: kf.bluezqt: PendingCall Error: "Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken."

My phone also fails but with the error:

kf.bluezqt: PendingCall Error: "Authentication Canceled"

I seem to be getting this same thing now for a headset that used to work just fine earlier. And also works on other systems, but not on particular hardware, it seems…

Mine got sorted by installing bluez-firmware.
Running openSUSE Tumbleweed.

I was having similar-ish issue when connecting a new device. Existing devices work fine, but some don’t connect. Unsure what the real culprit is here.

Temporarily working around this issue with blueman to connect new devices.

Sounds like similar issue to mine. Existing BT speaker was working fine, unpaired headset failed to pair. Bluez FW seemed to be the ticket for me.

Update: Kernel 6.11.10 has fixed this for me partially.
Connecting is no longer na issue but some devices do drop connection or fail to connect at first try. Which is likely a different issue
