I tried restarting the bluetooth service but it pops out with a error
If anybody knows how to reset/ reinstall the file in the /etc/bluetooth/ Dir i would gladly know how to do that
Info from the
sudo systemctl status bluetooth
command
Hi - that’s a pretty low-level error, that looks to be below where KDE software typically operates - the error in the Plasma Bluetooth settings window is likely because the underlying system service that Plasma talks to isn’t running correctly.
If this is the same Kubuntu device that you mentioned in your previous post - since those system components should be shared among the Ubuntu flavors, I’d recommend checking the Ubuntu/Kubuntu support channels to see if this has come up for others, and how they have resolved: Help and Support | Kubuntu
For what it’s worth - it does sound like others have encountered similar issues in the past, so it may be a recurrence in either the upstream bluez project, or an issue with how the distribution has configured those packages:
- Bluetooth service not starting / Newbie Corner / Arch Linux Forums
- Bluetooth.service 'bad unit file setting' - Kernel, boot, graphics & hardware - EndeavourOS
- bluez 1:5.72.r51.g0de32f67f `Failed to start bluetooth.service: Unit bluetooth.service has a bad unit file setting.` · Issue #736 · bluez/bluez · GitHub
yeah i tried everything in those it even fixed it to a error code but i think thats worse
I hope that the update will fix it
