Bring Back ESC shift feature to open processes quickly and fix CTRL A

Basically I would like to somehow get back the old process manager it was far easier to access. In addition the old one using ESC Shift allowed the usage of CTRL A to select multiple processes. This keybinding does not work now in the only left System monitor app. [otherwise KDE 6 Runs like a charm, It even fixed many desktop Issues I had :3]

I agree, I really find it frustrating to have multiple steps to get to the process list. I used to use the keyboard shortcut or just click on the monitor widget in the tray. Now I have many more steps to take to open the processes view

UPDATE: I got it working enough!

I just in system monitor under “edit or remove pages” there’s an option for what to start with. I set that to start with the Processes view!

And there’s a shortcut (adjustable in settings, default is Meta+Esc) to open System Monitor!

People in here have to stop treating KDE as a separate entity, provider of software, that has nothing to do with you. If you are here, you are part of the community, and you don’t ask for things to happen, like you would from a magic lamp. You go and help them happen.

KDE is not a company. Its regular contributors, all unpaid volunteers, are spread carbon-fiber thin, and the software KDE produces becomes common property the moment it hits the repos by dint of its license.

if you use it, you own it, and you are co-responsible for it. Even if you can’t code, it is it is up to you to to facilitate the changes you want by whichever means you can offer.
