Bug: Login bug after first wrong password

hey as the titles says.. i booted to Cachy os, i use the kde plasma DE.
after i entered the wrong password the first time it wont accept the right password it keeps looping to wrong password please reenter.. this happens rarely but its annoying. onky way to fix it is to restart.

how it happened:

  1. Logged in and saw battery was low so i shut down
  2. put it on charge and booted again.
  3. entered wrong password on first try
  4. re-entered right password
  5. wrong password entered loop begins

solution:

reboot.

this can be frustrating in time sensitive matters. i am a university student and sometimes i might be late to class or miss assignment deadlines due to this.. is this the right place to make a bug report?

to add.. there is also another person facing this in the same OS.
they leave their laptop unattended and then come back to login since they are logged out and get the same issue..

happened to them multiple times

if this is important to you then perhaps catchy is not the best distro choice.

maybe.. but im not looking to change my distro.. im just here wanting to inform and hope that this gets fixed.. everything else has been perfect. i don’t update everyday i update once in 2 -3 weeks when i have time to sit update and fix things.
