Builds 6112, 6114 sqlite3.dll not found

Both kmymoney-master-6114-windows-cl-msvc2022-x86_64.exe and kmymoney-master-6112-windows-cl-msvc2022-x86_64.exe display system error: “The code execution cannot proceed because sqlite3.dll was not found.”

I just downloaded the developmental version (KMyMoney
Version 5.2.70-4afd42b) and it ran fine. (kmymoney-master-6114-linux-gcc-x86_64.AppImage 2026-10-08 06:43)

Original post is about Windows builds, I expect something isn’t quite right with the packaging, but I don’t have a Windows install to test on.

Yes, the last two Windows builds install normally but will not run, and gives that sqlite3.dll error message immediately after clicking KMyMoney icon.

..another in the long list of reasons to switch to Linux.

I can confirm the error in a Virtualbox Win10 instance. There are several missing dll’s and when run from command line, it complains it can’t find api-ms-win-crt-locale-l1-1-0.dll. I don’t see sqlite3.dll in the downloaded 7z file - but I don’t know if it’s missing or should be found elsewhere. Any hints on what I should be looking for?

Reinstalling did not fix this problem.

I would not expect reinstalling to help. I need to figure out where the program thinks/expects that dll to be, and why it is not there. It is likely some issue with the Craft build, since the problem is specific to the Windows build.

sqlite3.dll was found in the directories before installing the 6112 or 6114 Windows builds, but not found after.

I can second that.

I just installed kmymoney-master-6122-windows-cl-msvc2022-x86_64.exe. Running it gave the same error message.

Installed kmymoney-master-6124-windows-cl-msvc2022-x86_64.exe but has same error.

Someone needs to dig into the Windows Craft blueprint to see what has changed recently.
