Maybe it’s a good feature to have a button like the networke test who links at an unencrypted network in the browser to the standard gateway so we didn’t have to look for the right IP to login with the credentials.
Hi - to make sure I’m understanding your message, are you talking about having something built into Plasma’s Network Management applet to prompt users with a browser for signing in to captive portals?
If so, there’s an existing wishlist item for this in the KDE Bugzilla issue tracker: 467991 – Inline QtWebview-based captive portal view, so you don't need to open the default browser for this
If that’s not it - could you perhaps share an example of the kind of thing you’re thinking of, that might already exist on another platform?
