Calendar widgets minimal size is still too big

  1. Calendar Widget is too big on desktop. Not everybody has display with 3840x2160 resolution.

  2. Calendar when launched from taskbar should have minimal size the same like rest of notification windows

the size of the calendar when you click on the digital clock has been a long standing complaint… it take up nearly a quarter of the screen on my display and seems excessive.

my search foo on the bug tracker is weak, and i could not find anything on this topic but i’ve seen others mention it here on the discuss before.

it would be nice if it were configurable… haven’t tried playing with system font sizes yet tho, maybe that would affect it.

It is shame that I can’t have all widgets nicely aligned like on windows 7.

I see no reason to have such gigantic calendar on desktop.

This had previously been requested through the KDE Bugtracking System: 468765 – Allow for smaller calendar widget on desktop - it looks like something that will just require someone with the time, ability and interest to jump in and implement :slight_smile:
