Not right now. The capability needs to be added to KPipeWire (the library we use for recording on wayland).

+1 I would really like to see this feature too. So far haven’t needed to record sound too the couple of times I’ve used it’s record function, but I can definitely see myself needing this in the future…

From now, I use OBS for simple recording with audio.

I would prefer the good, old-fashioned SimpleScreenRecorder ported into Wayland.

I liked SSR too, but as it is not a KDE project, there is not a lot we can do.

So true. It’s just unfortunate that we have to do with one less and cross fingers that a viable replacement, even if it isn’t from KDE, can offered that would also run on Wayland.
