You can’t use Gdrive. Read this:

Google has removed the access permissions for KDE’s GDrive client. So even if you have provided the client with the necessary login credentials, the GDrive server will still deny access to your files. Unfortunately Google has so far not been able to release a GDrive client for Linux of their own. It might be possible to convince Google to reinstate access permissions for KDE’s client, however there is currently no timeline for that.

Unfortunately, the solutions you mentioned are no different from using Google Drive through a browser. What we need is access to Drive folders directly from Dolphin. For this, there is rclone, but unfortunately, it is slower compared to kio-gdrive. Also, what we are discussing here is not alternative programs but the status of kio-gdrive.
