Hello,
I am trying to use KDEConnect with my iPhone on my college’s wifi. I have previously had success on my home wifi.
I do not see my phone on the KDE Connect screen on my laptop nor my laptop on the screen on my phone. I have even put in my laptop’s IP address for discovery on my phone but it stll says nothing even after I refresh it.
I have confirmed that kdeconnect is allowed through my firewall (firewalld) and using netstat with my phone’s IP address I even get one. “connection succeeded”.
I initially thought this had to be something to do with the fact that I am on a public wifi but based on the fact that the connection succeeded and that I still had this issue while using the same VPN server on both devices I do not know what to think anymore.
