Cannot recreate auto timeout in external keyboard

I have a redragon mechanical keyboard attached with rgb light. One time when I logged in to plasma (wayland) suddenly the keyboard light went off after some time, and when i pressed again it lit up and then again went off like after 5 sec just like auto timeout. I also checked by turning off the rgb if the keyboard functioned normally, Yes it did.

I thought it was a new feature so unplugged and replugged the USB but cannot recreate that timeout again. Was that a bug, if so having as a feature will be great.

Hi! Just to check, does your keyboard have a “wireless mode” or “wired mode” that can be set independent of whether or not the keyboard is actually plugged in? If I understand correctly, sometimes those keyboards go into a sleep mode if they’re set to wireless, even if they are in fact plugged in.

I’m no expert at all, but it might be worth looking at :slight_smile:

No it is wired only keyboard
