Cant add custom cursor.

I have been using a guide to create my own custom cursor and so far it has been working well until step 09.

It says to just simply select the theme in settings, but my theme is not appearing, and I am unable to add it using “Install from file” as there is no cursor theme file to select, even though there is an index.theme file present.

I had the same problem with catppuccin-frappe-blue-cursors.

It needs to be placed in the $HOME/.icons folder instead of the $HOME/.local/share/icons folder.
