I have a weird problem intermittently with the keyboard. In certain apps (most notably Obsidian, Firefox and vim) certain keys are ignored at times. I’m not sure if the issue affects all apps, but these are the ones I’m using the most and have noticed the problem in.
I thik it’s the same keys always. The ones I found out have the problem: i and l, the arrow keys as well as numbers (the numbers are also the ones located above the three letter rows of the keyboard, so it’s not a numlock issue).
What I noticed happens when I press the keys and they get ignored: they don’t actually get ignored - when pressing the icon of the active app lights up like this:
I noticed a peculiar thing about the task manager: When the keys work as expected (type) it looks like this:

While when they don’t it looks like this:

From what I can guess, the keys don’t work when the app isn’t fully regarded as the active window so Plasma tries to switch the window (but it’s always the active app that lights up, regardless of the key pressed. When the keys work the task manager lights indicate the same as they do when the keys don’t work properly (holding an affected key makes the bar under the icon light up, which lasts for about a second after the key is released as well).
