I’m trying out digiKam 8.4.0 on Windows 10 and I cannot download any plugin, not even the ones that the program suggests to install, because it’s using a mirror in Portugal (up.pt) that simply doesn’t work (it accepts network requests, but it runs at modem speeds and eventually times out).
I’ve been looking in settings, documentation, Bing, Google… and I’ve been unable to find any reference about mirrors, save for an unanswered 2yo forum post about this exact mirror, what suggests it isn’t a transient issue.
Is mirror configuration a thing?
