So I know Kate uses Konsole for built-in terminal, although it seems to use a different config file, as when I use Yin-Yang to change terminal theme (light/dark) depending on system theme, it does not work inside of Kate. Any suggestions?
Request the developer(s) fix Yin-Yang.
This kind of error used to be common with konsave which is ultimately a superb tool for toggling desktop settings - I would heartily recommend it.
I use it for toggling my ‘comfort’ theme with my ‘creamy’ theme… (darkish to lightish) and it’s easily configured manually to include anything you wish to include, no matter how obscure or non-standard your theme is.
Thank you, I will try konsave and see if there’s any success where Yin-Yang is missing. I am genuinely curious where Kate gets the terminal theme from, I suppose it must be somewhere in the dev docs, otherwise I’ll have to ask on Matrix.
