Would it be possible for Plasma to detect keyboard that you have and change the print key in the shortcuts to something different?
I don’t have the print key in my keyboard and it would be better if the system knew that and adapted rather than having to redo shortcuts on my own.
Unfortunately, there’s is no way to automatically identify what keys are available on a keyboard.
There are some setup experiences that attempt to guess which more-or-less-standard keyboard layout you have by asking leading questions, like “is the key to the right of your left shift a Z or a \” or “do you have a long or standard backspace”, but it fizzles out quickly when you get into less standard setups - like the Lenovo built Thinkpad laptops’, for example, where they moved the print key to the bottom - there are just too many weird ways to fsckup a layout.
