Unfortunately, there’s is no way to automatically identify what keys are available on a keyboard.
There are some setup experiences that attempt to guess which more-or-less-standard keyboard layout you have by asking leading questions, like “is the key to the right of your left shift a Z or a \” or “do you have a long or standard backspace”, but it fizzles out quickly when you get into less standard setups - like the Lenovo built Thinkpad laptops’, for example, where they moved the print key to the bottom - there are just too many weird ways to fsckup a layout.
