Change Speed - Pitch Compensation unavailable 😕

Kdenlive Version 22.04

Change Speed: 120%

I was just realized that the Change Speed Pitch Compensation is “unavailable”! What I mean is, the option is there, but I can’t check on that!

So I tried Time Rapping. Pitch Compensation is available and I checked, but the voice still chipmunk like

Your version of Kdenlive is more than 3 years old. Please update to 25.08.0 and check whether the issue still exists. Thanks!

Which means, it’s high possibility a Bug, right?

It could be a bug in 22.04, but there is no way that a three years old version will get a bug fix. Upgrade to at least 24.12. but I highly recommend 25.08.

Sad! I wish so, but unfortunately, my Mac/OS wasn’t compatible…it’s too old

So, for temporary purpose, I speed up via VideoProc Vlogger after Mastered the clip! Yup VideoProc Vlogger has no Pitch Compensation issue, working perfectly fine!
