Changing resolution midway through project

Hi, I have a general question regarding the current version 23.04.3 and project settings. Is there some risk in changing the timeline resolution (e.g. HD ↔ 4k) midway through project saves?

It seems to effect general processing speed a lot independent of playback resolution, so I’m wondering if it’s OK to enlarge the resolution during finalisation using the current version.

Changing project settings in mid-stream is not advised but it is possible. As a safety measure I would make a copy of the project first …
