Changing the avatar on the lockscreen?

How do I change avatar on the lockscreen?

I got the SDDM one working for when I log in.

System setting show no users and even if I select a new image it wont show up.

I’m running X11 on PCLinuxOS

settings > users

doesn’t show the picture / icon for your user(s)?

how do you log in?

This is all that shows in my settings.

Clicking the avatar and selecting a new one wont change it

Interesting… what’s going on in the logs when you try?

you need to fill in the form… how did you login with out a user acct?

something is borked.

i would try to add new and create a proper user acct, the try to delete that one, if you even can.

not sure, which logs?

I setup a root and user account when installing the OS. That is all i know.

Looking at your screenshot it shows you have no user and user password active. This could mean you are now logged in as root which you never should do because doing so opens up all files and folders for anyone who can get contact to your computer.
What do you see when you open Dolphin, what is the contents of your home folder? Is it as it should be with folders like Documents, Downloads, Pictures, etc, or do you get to see something completely different?

Reboot, or log-out, and on the log-in screen choose your username and matching password. Then try again to change the avatar. Also now in Dolphin you should see your files and folders.

Been using this system for a long time like this, definitely not logged in a root.
