I maintain the Mac build of GIMP, and the same problem shows up anywhere you track upstream: has this fix actually shipped in a release? I built released to answer it. Paste an invent.kde.org commit or merge request and it returns the first release tag that contains it, with a link to share. Beats cloning the repo to run git tag --contains. Web and CLI, MIT, covers invent.kde.org alongside GitHub and the other GitLab hosts.
