Using the user interface of Arianna, I don’t see any way to remove books from the library within the app. I’m sure such a feature would be added eventually. Until such a feature exists, how can I clear either specific books or the whole library? What files or folders need to be deleted? Uninstalling and reinstalling does not change the stored library. Using opensuse rpm.

Quite honestly, best advice here is to use foliate.
Arianna isn’t even close.
As an answer to my question (for the current version of Arianna):
Rename or delete the file or directory where the book files are located. Open Arianna, and the books should be gone, then close Arianna. Can rename the files and directories to the original names. The books should still be gone when reopening Arianna.
