Clicking shutdown/restart do nothing

Have recently updated my PC from a Dell 7060, to Lenovo M920S. Moved an SSD (Drive0), and an HDD (Drive1), across, and played around with EFI to get them booting correctly, and all seems to be working OK, except…

Clicking on the Shutdown/Restart widget in the bar, or opening the Application Launcher, and clicking Restart/Shutdown, do nothing. To reboot/shutdown, have to open a terminal and shutdown there….

Thinking of doing a full reinstall, but before I do, thought I would ask…

You tried to make a new user and see if this new user can?
