Ever since I reinstall Kubuntu 24.10, but have used my old /home drive with all the .configs, every time I press ctrl-; (semicolon) I get a popup at the cursor position showing the contents of the clipboard. This is not too bad in most apps, but in LibreOffice Calc (Flatpak install), ctrl-; inserts the current date which is something that I have been used to for many years.
Is there any way of switching off the clipboard hijacking of ctrl-;? I have searched through the System Settings shortcuts and it doesn’t seem to appear anywhere.
Thanks for that. Meta-v does indeed produce a long list of the paste history.
Ctrl-; produces a smaller list in a box of just a few history items. Unfortunately, I don’t seem to be able to get a screenshot of it as it disappears when I actually take the shot - if someone can point me how to do that, I’ll would be grateful.

On my KDE panel, right mouse click on the Input Method (icon like a miniature keyboard) and click on configure.
Click on the add-ons tab and then, on the clipboard module, click on the small settings icon on the right hand side. On the trigger key button, click on the key short-cut (which was set to ctrl-;). Click on the red X and make sure it says empty. Click on OK and then Close.
In my case, ctrl-; became instantly available to use in LibreOffice Calc to insert current date instead of the paste history box.
