Clipboard not working well

Seems especially since the 6.02 update I’m having many clipboard issues when trying to copy passwords from Bitwarden (for example). I hit the copy password button, multiple times, but until I actually highlight the actual password and copy it more directly it doesn’t copy as expected. Not sure why. I use X11. Could be an issue with 6.00 in general, not 6.02 in particular, but I’m noticing it more now. Not entirely sure.

It seems that Klipper stopped working at all. It did work before last update.

Did you find a solution to this problem? For me I think the problem with the clipboard started in 6.3 (maybe before). For example, if I copy something in emacs (GUI), and press Meta+V, I can see that the text is copied, but I cannot paste it with Ctrl+V in eg. Firefox. Could it be that I have some program running that is interfering with the clipboard? I suspected maybe a problem between GTK apps and Plasma, or maybe kdeconnect, but haven’t found a consistent relation.

So, I found a way to get the clipboard in Plasma KDE to work better with GTK apps by installing “wl-clipboard”. At least I think this makes it work better, time will show.

dnf install wl-clipboard

Just to update on this: It did not help much to install wl-clipboard.
In fact, if I have something in the clipboard, as I can confirm by pressing Meta+V, and then try to paste it to eg. Konsole, it often does not work - nothing is pasted. Not by middle click, not by ctrl+shift+v. If I press Meta+V, and click on another entry, then Meta+V and click on the entry I want, I can paste to Konsole. Very annoying. Might there be some sort of service I have running that is interfering with the clipboard?

Currently, I’m having the same problem as you. When I hit Ctrl+V, the copied text doesn’t appear.

When I’m in a text field, I press Meta + V, but the cursor in the field disappears, so Ctrl + V can’t fill the field.
