Hi,
in order of gratitude for using KDE Neon Plasma, Dev/QA community are welcome to use “Combinatorics Framework” in personal testing purposes.
I see, that interface has lots of configurable and interoperable parameters, action sequences, therefore “Combinatorics Framework” may find its usage.
Wear QA Engineer role and Godspeed!

@Yurii_Baranov:
First, welcome to the KDE Discuss Forum!
If I’m interpreting your Framework correctly, you’ve implemented an environment for <All-pairs testing> based on the research work done by NIST → <Combinatorial Methods for Trust and Assurance>.
From a testing view, that’s an interesting enhancement to existing software test methodologies – including the curriculum of the “International Software Testing Qualifications Board” (ISTQB).
Hello.
It is so much more. Have you ever consider sequence of actions with parameters? Sudden actions? Dynamic execution for complex system business-logic flow for end-2-end testing.
“Any task as Frankenstein-like. How would it behave?”
In my repo there are System-Under-Test (“SUT” to pair with the Framework) introduced and AI analysis is to help to get a glimpse of usage and obtain understanding or built own test combo-scenario spaces.
Some previous usage examples are shown on my Youtube channel: @yuriibaranov
I am working on new extended article on dev.to about.
Thanks for you interest!

Have you ever stopped to consider the largest autonomous robotic system spanning the entire planet Earth?
- This planet’s telephone system.
Anyone can dial a number into a device and be connected, autonomously, to the specific remote device assigned to the dialed number – a bi-directional data path which carries human speech in real-time is associated with the dialed connection.
And, if the conditions supporting the bi-directional data path can no longer support that path, a new path is autonomously chosen and established – within 2 speech frames → 40 milliseconds …
The supporting material detailing the international agreements which this robotic system possible, may be found in the ITU-T and 3GPP recommendations.
- For example, the 3GPP Mobile radio interface Layer 3 specification TS 24.008 (as used by our mobile telephones – world-wide) is a relatively small document – the current newest version is only 835 DIN A5 pages – and, there are only 188 references to other documents …
As an example, the Mobile Station (MS) [also known as “User Equipment” (UE)] Mobility Management (MM) sublayer states –
Which begs the question, how on earth did human beings ever manage to implement the complexity of the modern (world wide) telephony system without any help from the newest and latest computational systems?
One final point, since the early days of digital telephony systems, the systems as such have been autonomous – by design. Human beings can only influence the behaviour of the system …
@Yurii_Baranov:
I’ve noticed in the GitHub repository that, you’re the only human being mentioned there.
Therefore, possibly, it could be interesting to see the results of your Framework applied by a (large) team of testers to a large specification – such as the ITU-T specifications or, the 3GPP specifications.
We shouldn’t forget that, “Linux” was a software development “Silver Bullet” started by a “Lone Ranger” …
