Hi I’ve been using comic manager to make short comic and some works that need to have a system that can output multiple versions. I see that export setting can crop how much pixels out of each sides I want, so I’ve tried used it to make one that is shorter than the original size to be able to fit on social media. Turning a4 into Square-ish size. But when I tried enter crop amount on top and bottom side. I always get a result that Bottom value will be use as the Right value instead. I’ve tried multiple time, swap places and learn its behavior. I found out that when I open and edited the right side value, it’d showed in the .json file as a bottom side value, and vice versa.
So now I’m just remembering how this work and it export out the right size that I want. Fantastic!
I don’t know if this it an ongoing part of Krita anymore because when I checked this feature, not many people are talking about it. But I think this is a huge plus for comic artists and book designers alike. This is a powerful feature that I always wanted in Photoshop. They also have Indesign that have this kind of feature but this is much more specific on what I wanted rather than million things that I don’t intended on using it.
Thank you for reading, I want this feature to be helpful to all the artists out there. If there’s anything I can provide with information, just let me know!
