I am really hoping to use KDE Connect for dictation, using my phone’s speech to text. I am using iOS.
The problem is, while remote input with the phone keyboard is working, dictation is not (the little “microphone” button does nothing).
I think dictation would work if there was a text box, like the “Compose+Send” that I’ve heard is present in the android version of the app. But I don’t see it in iOS. Am I just missing something?
It looks like my only option for dictation is copying on my phone, pushing the clipboard, and then pasting on the computer. That’s how I’m writing this message. But it’s just annoying enough to not be worth it most of the time.
