Comprehensive migration guide for falkon?

Is there any comprehensive migration guide for falkon? With the shakes in the browser market, I, like many other users, have been looking for alternatives that work better. Falkon is a great option with plasma integration. However, some challenges arise that end up not facilitating a transition. would you have some comprehensive transition guide that covers aspects such as:

  • Making the ad blocker even more robust and functional, at the level of uBO or higher;
  • Make ad blocker undetectable, such as uBO or higher;
  • Migration of data from other browsers such as Firefox, including browsing history, bookmarks; Importing passwords asks for an XML file, but Firefox exports the passwords in another format. How can I solve this without the risk of losing the passwords?
  • How to enable HW acceleration and check if hardware acceleration is working well? On sites like YouTube.
  • speaking of YouTube, how to activate picture-in-picture?
  • other browsers, when opened for the first time, show the option to import data from other browsers, something similar does not happen with falkon.

Anyway, I believe there are still more aspects to be covered in this guide, but these should be enough to make the Falkon experience a little easier and more functional.

Hi - I’m not aware of one, but if there’s interest, it sounds like a good opportunity to contribute through documentation: Get Involved/documentation - KDE Community Wiki :slight_smile:
