I have a major headache right now with trying to understand the KDE kiosk configuration. I have read up on the documentation from the develop.kde.org website and it’s sister page the keys page.
SOME keys work like logout=false or ‘action/file_new’=false works so I can disable logging out or stopping kate from making a new file. But then I add something like kdesktop_rmb and the whole thing collapses upon itself. Not only does not every key documented work for me, but if a key fails the entire /etc/xdg/kdeglobals configuration fails (As in, something I previously disabled will not be enabled again). Has anyone else managed to understand this? Because I’m incredibly lost on this. I’m testing all this out with KDE Plasma 5.27 in a Debian 12 virtual machine.
