Consistant Install Error on NVME Drive

I am getting this error on every OS install attempt. I am using the latest OS image from kde .org (6.2). I have tried Ventoy, the KDE image installer, and gnome disks to flash my USB drive for install. I have a screenshot but I’m not allowed to post links here. Also note I have tried the install without using SWAP and I get another error as well.

LOGS:

Create a new partition (30.05 GiB, luks) on ‘/dev/nvme0n1’

Job: Create new partition on device ‘/dev/nvme0n1’

Command: sfdisk --force --append /dev/nvme0n1

Failed to add partition ‘New Partition’ to device ‘/dev/nvme0n1’.

Failed to add partition ‘New Partition’ to device ‘/dev/nvme0n1’.

Does it already have any partitions? Also what type of installation and partitioning are you trying to do? Is it a standalone installation or are you trying dual booting with another already installed OS?

No partitions, I was attempting a full drive install, no dual boot, and encryption turned on. Default KDE Neon partition scheme with swap.

Hmmm!! Try the following. It’s about manjaro but I believe kde neon also uses the same installer (calamares)

Thank you, attempting this now!

Just tried this, it failed with the same error above (create new partition 30.05 GiB luks on /dev/nvme0n1)

Install went perfectly with a Neon ISO from 7/4/24 month/day/year (Plasma 6.0) this doesn’t solve the issue with the current release tho :frowning:

Maybe you should file a bug report if it’s working with older ISO but not with the current :\
