Hello,
I am quite new to Kdenlive. I have seek the forum and the bug report but I cannot find mention of my issue.
I can reproduce it everytime with the following steps:
Open Kdenlive
Press New project… button
Press Ok on the Project Settings window
Right click on audio track on the time line and tick Show Record Controls
Right click on audio track on the time line and untick Show Record Controls
Right click on audio track on the time line and tick Show Record Controls
Then it crashes.
If I do not play with the buton (I tick once and don’t come back to it) it is Ok. So for now this is a kind of turnaround.
Using: Kdenlive 25.12.0 with Windows Windows 11 Professionnel
Laptop Dell: Intel(R) Core™ Ultra 5 235U (2.00 GHz)
16,0 GB RAM/128MB Intel graphic card

Actually I saw this the other day but didn’t report it. Essentially the same process but activated differently. I activated it in the Audio Mixer . I clicked on the Audio Monitor (MIC) icon. Doing it 3 times does the same thing.
It seems the issue has been fixed in Release 25.12.1
I have no more the issue after updating to 25.12.1
