Ctrl+W sends Ctrl+Z on Russian (Phonetic, AZERTY) layout

I’m on Arch Linux using KDE Plasma 6.7. I have an AZERTY keyboard laptop using French keyboard layout but I also need Russian keyboard layout sometimes. I found “Russian (Phonetic, AZERTY)” to make the most sense to me, but I noticed that keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl + Z or Ctrl + W switch when using it, as if it defaults to a QWERTY keyboard layout. I realize this might be a useful feature for some but still, can this be fixed? Thanks

You can create your own keyboard layout.
Starting off an existing one to be efficient.

This is not specific to KDE Plasma.

Oh, I thought it was KDE Plasma related. Thanks
