can we have the execution of a custom command as an option for screen edges please?
also a “open tray” action as option would be nice
thank you!

To be honest, I think this is a bit of a questionable idea. Any command can be assigned, and hot corners are extremely easy to trigger by accident. Instead, you can use global keyboard shortcuts and bind the necessary commands to them.
Hi - the following bug report has some suggestions on how what you’re thinking of could be accomplished: 416513 – Ability to run custom command/script on screen edge
i don’t get how i can assign a keyboard shortcut to a hot corner (why is it called edges anyways, it’s a corner not an edge)
That’s your opinion. If you wanna use shortcuts, fine. The fact remains this was asked by many people before and the corner thing was perfectly possible in 5-ish. So, I fail to see the “questionable” part here. As a matter of fact, a package called hot-corners-xd was around many years ago and it still worked on plasma. That little package had the option to assign any command you like(d) to any given corner and came by default with skippy-xd. Wouldn’t even by surprised it still works on 6-ish x11. Especially since skippy even regained new intrest and a makeover. So yeah, some people use corner bindings.

You misunderstood. There’s no point really in assigning a shortcut to emulate a hot corner.
I’m sorry, my English is terrible :[
I meant that you can use keyboard shortcuts to run the necessary terminal command. I hope that makes it clearer.
