Custom Colors in the kde color picker disapear, won't save

I had two colors saved. I loved this feature as it makes branding things really easy (my logo colors).

Since may, the colors don’t save anymore. The two I had saved just disappeared.

It’s August now and the problem is still present. I use Spectacle often, and that is where i had the colors saved. It’s enough to just open and close spectacle for a color to disappear.

Here are my specs:

I just noticed this as well while using “Custom Colors” in the “System Settings”. My custom colors will save, but my custom colors in the color chooser doesn’t save just like your post describes.

I’m wondering if anyone has made any progress on fixing this issue because this came in really handy for me, especially for setting up my themes. It saved a lot of time and made my colors consistent. Now, I’ve just got to try and match colors up manually if that makes any sense.

Edit: Grammar

Qt changed how they handle colors. This KDE feature relied on the Qt color picker. You’re no longer able to save custom colors. It’s known and there is talk about creating something that will store the custom colors. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=502957
