Hello,
I have a similar issue to this Kate: Default folder - #9 by dzon however I am on Windows.
I’m using the standard windows installer so the Application files are located under Programs Files C:\Program Files\Kate\
The default directory is always C:\Windows\System32 which obviously is not where I want to access existing folders (projects) or save any new files I create.
How can I change this? I’ve googled and googled and searched this dicussion and I cannot find an answer for my situation.
I feel like this should be a standard setting under Settings > Configure Kate. It is for most other programs…
Any help please as it’s driving me crazy as I have to navigate to an entirely different drive.
