I’m trying to upgrade to the latest version of Neon and I noticed that it requires “liblcms2-2 (>= 2.16) but 2.14-2build1 is to be installed”
indeed the noble repos only have version 2.14 and not 2.16 as needed
should i download it from from trixie repos and install it manually or should i wait for it to get updated in the noble repos?
currently running:
Operating System: KDE neon User Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19.0
Qt Version: 6.9.2
Kernel Version: 6.16.0-nekokernel (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
So it’s been a while since you updated, or had this problem been going on for a bit?
Definitely not. It’s in the neon repos
Try this: reinstall neon-settings-2, which should update the set of apt preferences, and try updating again. The current version is. 0.5+p24.04+vrelease+git20251212.2337
it has been a while since i updated yeah, i left it for a day then updated the repos, seems like that did the trick
