Desktop PC: Monitors identified in wrong order

Arch Linux, KDE 6.7.2, Desktop PC (no Laptop!), 2 Monitors

Main Monitor: UHD on DP-1 identified by kscreen-doctor as output 2.

Secondary Monitor: QHD on DP-2 identified by kscreen-doctor as output 1.

Using Meta+P KDE links UHD/DP-1 to “external monitor” and QHD/DP-2 to “internal monitor”.

I often use only the main UHD monitor and add the QHD in case I need more space. I have to choose the “extend to right of monitor” option with Meta+P (as DP-2 is located LEFT of DP-1). Consequently, DP-2/QHD becomes the primary monitor in KDE (moving the taskbar etc. to it). This is not what I want, as DP-1/UHD is the primary monitor.

So the problem is: Anytime I re-add the QHD secondary monitor (DP-2, output 1), KDE re-sets the primary monitor to it. Consequently I have to re-set the primary monitor back to the UHD (DP-1, output 2) manually, which is annoying.

Is there any way to teach KDE to use DP-1 as output 1?
