Desktop Scrolling sensitivity and inconsistency

I feel like scrolling sensitivity for desktop switching, be it in overview or pager, is too high and should be lower.

People often need to scroll one desktop at a time and for me i have to be careful scrolling and it doesn’t feel natural. Scrolling sensitivity is fine for other apps so i can’t lower the global sensitivity. And yes i am talking about mouse although it should be the same for touchpad scrolling too (not gestures, they work really well).
Is there any way to lower sensitivity of desktop switching?

Also sometime scrolling once doesn’t respond and then you scroll again and it switches two desktops at a time. I guess this is a bug. Have someone encountered it?

you don’t say what kind of mouse you have, but my scroll wheel has detents, and the desktops scroll at rate of one desktop per detent… its’ quite controllable.

perhaps there is a utility for fedora that does what this does for ubuntu

It’s an HP mouse  and yeh detents are there but medium detents not some ultra hard
Maybe because i am from gnome so i am feeling it even more
