I think I did a mistake today, when I was working on Metadata and had a lot of similar items to work on, I klicked at one stage at the pop-up window yes to “accept changes without confirmation” - or something like this, I do use the german version Version 7.6.0 on Windows.
I would love to undo this decision, but I was not able to find any place to do it.
Can you help me, please, and point me to the right direction?

Dears,
I found a solution - unfortunately it meant to deinstall Digikam and delete all associated files (e.g. in appdata, only deinstalling and re-installing did not work). Then I was able to use the “old” database files again.
