Disable Auto-Standby

With Debian 13 KDE 6.4.6 my PC goes into standby after 10min. I tried to disable that behavior in settings, but it does not change anything. So I want to check and set the config files. Where do I find the energy config file(s)?

It should be under power management in system settings. you also might want to disable the screen locking timer as well

I already disabled both, screen locking timer and standby timer. But the last one has no effect and so even disabled my system goes standby after 10 minutes. That’s why I’m looking for the config file.

you probably want

/etc/systemd/sleep.conf

No that was not what I needed, but thanks for looking. I found it (after your post) in ~/.config/powerdevilrc. I was just lucky seeing this name and trial and error like opened it.

It helped me to realize that my PC was not going into standby, but my monitors did. Somehow I gave no attention to that setting - don’t ask me why. But for my defense, there is not much difference between PC standby and monitor standby.
