No idea if this is the right place to start, but I’ll try.
So my issue is the following. I’m using flatpak installed version on a Nobara linux with KDE plasma.
For some reason, I don’t get soundoutput anymore. Mic is working fine, as well as Discord sounds in general.
I’ve also confirmed that other sound is playing, e.g. youtube etc.
It worked fine, until suddenly, without warning/bug anything I couldn’t hear people anymore (it happened while I was in voice channel).
I tried reinstalling Discord, doesn’t help.
Here’ the weird part, it also happens when I use Discord via Browser, not just the installed version.
And the second weird thing:
For other reasons, I had to rename the .local and .config directories, which resulted in basically KDE being as it was when I first installed nobara and for some reason, after that, Discord worked again until yesterday the same issue arose.
That is why I believe it might have to do something with KDE, but I have absolutely no idea how to degub this, or where to search for a solution to this problem.
Has anyone experienced something similiar or could help pointing me in the right direction?
Of course I could just do the renaming again, but it also detroys every other setting I’ve made, so I’d rather not have to do that regularly…
Thanks for reading, I’m happy to provide more info if needed.
